The Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination is for anyone who wants to work in any government office in the Philippines. Administered twice or thrice a year by the Civil Service Commission, the exam has 2 levels: professional and sub-professional.
Any Filipino citizen 18 years old and above who has no criminal records, has not been dishonorably discharged from military service or any government position, and has taken the CSE for the same level within 3 months from last exam is qualified to take the Career Service Exam.
